We are a small, inspired team engaging with a wide public and caring for a sizable archive and an intimate museum. We work closely with other Badger Lands partners and the greater community, reminding all to honor and share the diverse histories of this place because history lives in the present and guides our future.
Join this team and its mission by donating to BHG. Or, volunteer! Help us reach out and grow the history-conscious community. We have many projects:
- Help scan large-format Army photographs
- Assist in transcribing personal histories
- Interview characters in the ongoing Badger saga
- Research genealogy, natural history, and topics familiar to obscure
- Greet visitors at the museum
- Organize events
- Co-lead field trips
- Give a presentation for the lecture series
